Don Law and his staff have been recognized by their peers, U.S. Kids Golf, Golf Range of America and the PGA of America for their teaching and work with juniors. Our PGA and LPGA teaching professional staff have played college golf, professional tour events and have been recognized by the PGA with numerous awards.
DLGA’s core teaching staff is comprised of more than one dozen Class “A” PGA and LPGA golf professionals and apprentices with more than 300 combined years of golf operations, management, and teaching experience. In addition to their extensive competitive experience, DLGA’s professional staff members have worked as head professionals and directors of golf, and have won numerous awards at the PGA Chapter, Section and National level. They are dedicated teaching professionals and golf instruction authors whose objective is to help each student achieve their dreams.

Don Law has dedicated his entire professional career to educating and developing the next generation of golfers. A PGA member since 1993, Law rapidly became the face of junior golf and is considered by many as the pioneer of “Game Based Learning”.
Law co-founded ParKit Golf which has had an immeasurable impact in junior golf and how we teach juniors. U.S. Kids Golf licensed the ParKit “Book of Games” and have used them as part of their “Teacher Certification” clinics. They have certified thousands of teachers with his games and innovative ideas on game based learning. Today these games are known worldwide.
Don Law is the Director of Instruction at the Don Law Golf Academy at Osprey Point Golf Course. He is a U.S. Kids Master Instructor, GRAA Top 50 Teacher Elite Member , Golf Digest 2013-2016 Top 50 Teachers in Florida and Future Champions Top 25 Elite Coach in USA. He has been honored with several awards from the PGA including:

Rick is a holistic golf coach, blending technical swing instruction, playing strategy, and emotional/mental game management. Rick is a published author, with seven books on Amazon.com, including “Daddy Caddy on the Bag,”, “Daddy Caddy Off the Bag,” and “The Golf MasterMind.” He is a Top 50 Master U.S. Kids Teacher, a U.S. Kids Certified Instructor, and a Certified HeartMath Coach/Mentor.
Rick has been awarded the Southeast Chapter Junior Golf Leader award (2002), the Southeast Chapter PGA Horton Smith (education) award for both 2008 and 2009, and the Southeast Chapter Golf Professional of the Year for 2010.
Prior to turning professional, Rick enjoyed a successful competitive amateur golf career, including winning numerous junior tournaments, winning the Florida Junior PGA Championship, playing on the University of Florida Golf Team, and winning three Palm Beach County Amateur Golf Association titles.

Bill Scott has been teaching the game of golf since 1991 and became certified in club fitting in 1995. He achieved his membership in the PGA of America in 1997; placing in the top 5% of his class. He began teaching for the Don Law Golf Academy in 2004. Bill teaches golfers of all abilities and has been instrumental in the creation of beginner ladies clinics, corporate golf schools and clinics and has also taught several club champions, junior champions and professionals’. His passion for the game is reflected in his exceptional ability to effectively communicate the technical information of the golf swing to his students. Bill uses video swing analysis technology and on course playing lessons to sharpen his students golfing skill sets.

Bobby Ruzzi was born in Oyster Bay, New York and has been living in Florida for the past 11 years. He has been teaching with the Don Law Golf Academy since 2007. He is the Head Golf Professional at Osprey Point Golf Course in Boca Raton. He was Junior Golf Chairman from 2010-2011 for the SECPGA and Assistant Golf Coach for North Broward Preparatory School. He is a PGA Member. He teaches golfers of all ages in both group and private instruction settings. Club fitting and video analysis are available.
Bobby Ruzzi is great with all ages and skill levels. His positive approach and creativity in teaching makes him one of our most popular instructors. With juniors he is more than an instructor he is their coach.

Stan Moore, PGA, South Florida’s #1 Putting and Short Game coach, currently operates out of the beautiful Osprey Point Golf Course in Boca Raton, Florida. Recognized as a Top Golf Instructor by Golf Tips Magazine, US Kids Instructor, Authorized S&T Instructor.and one of only eighty Level II SAM Putt Lab instructors in the world. Stan has worked with students from 3 to 93 to improve their game.

A South Florida native Marc received his bachelor’s degree in Sociology in 1994 from Florida Atlantic University. As an avid youth golfer he developed his love for game, quickly became a scratch golfer and shot his career best 63 at his home course in Boca Raton Florida.
Marc is a PGA of America member and has been instructing students of all ages and levels since 2004. While teaching solid fundamentals, Marc will keep golf instruction simple and fun while exploring the mental side of the game. Whether a student is a verbal, kinesthetic or visual learner Marc will always find a way to effectively communicate the technical and physical information necessary to raise the students’ level to their peak performance.
Currently working for Don Law Golf Academy Marc has reached out to the community by instructing the youth in the Boca Raton, Delray and Boynton Beach areas. With over 18 years in the business and numerous accolades and tournament victories, Marc continues to advance his knowledge of the game and is ready bring you to your ultimate skill level. His passion and reputation for instruction has generated a buzz of followers throughout the South Florida area to date.
HPA Academy Assistant Director Kenny Leech, PGA Apprentice TrackMan Instructor Hour Rate Adults $125.00 Hour Rate Juniors $110.00
Kenny was one of the first juniors to be taught in the Don Law Golf Academy at the age of 5. Kenny was raised in the Don Law Golf Academy teaching environment throughout his junior golf career. Kenny had a very successful junior career winning over 150 junior tournaments and was featured as one of South Florida’s elite juniors.
Kenny played 4 years of Division I Collegiate golf at Longwood University. While in college, Kenny was a 4 year starter featuring his best years as a freshman and a senior. While a senior, Kenny was the 2nd ranked putter in Division I in Putts per round and ranked 13th in birdie putts per GIR. Kenny capped off his collegiate career having four runner up finishes and recording over 10 top 10 finishes throughout his four years.
Since turning pro in 2013, Kenny has been an instructor with the Don Law Golf Academy. While teaching part-time he also pursued a chance at the PGA Tour by playing local mini tours and traveling for Monday qualifiers. Kenny has recorded 5 professional wins since turning professional.
While Kenny really enjoyed his time playing and traveling he has learned a lot over the years from some of the worlds premiere instructors including Jim Suttie, Mike Adams, Mike Shannon, Warren Bottke and Don Law. Kenny is a PGA teaching apprentice and is seeking to achieve his class A status.
Brian Herring, PGA Instructor Hour Rate Adults $125.00 Hour Rate Juniors $100.00
Brian is a PGA of America member and is passionate about the game of golf. He turned professional in 1991 and found his way on several different professional tours. His journey over the past two and a half decades has provided a wealth of knowledge about playing the game of golf. Working with some of the best instructors in the game has given him a unique insight into the golf swing. In 2013 he joined the Don Law Golf Academy team. Brian has a wide range of teaching experience from tour player to beginning golfer. He teaches all skill levels and ages. His swing philosophy is simple- build a repeatable golf swing that controls impact. Brian is driven by the love of the game and his mission is to see his students achieve their goals.

Bridget Ackley, PGA Instructor Hour Rate Adults $125.00 Hour Rate Juniors $100.00
Bridget Ackley is originally from Brookfield, WI and has been living in Fort Lauderdale, FL since 2011. She began playing golf at the age of three and credits her parents for encouraging her throughout her golfing career. After a successful junior golf and high school career, she played collegiate golf at the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater for one year.
A serious car accident would put her collegiate golf career on hold for over a year. During this time she began coaching for her high school’s varsity golf team as well as assisting with her college team. Her passion for the game grew immensely through coaching and drove her to pursue a career in golf.
Bridget is a U.S. Kids Golf Certified Coach, actively involved with The First Tee of Broward and coaches the boys varsity golf team at Saint John Paul II Academy in Boca Raton, FL. She has a strong passion for advancing the game through quality instruction and has dedicated a considerable amount of focus on growing the game through junior golf programs. She understands that every golfer’s swing is unique and that there is no “perfect swing.” Her teaching philosophy concentrates on strong fundamentals, impact position, and attaining the goals set by each golfer.

Wayne is excited to join the Don Law Golf Academy staff for the 2019-2020 season at Osprey Point. He brings with him a stellar record as a teacher and player, having both played in major championships (1 U.S. Open, 5 PGA Championships, 1 U.S. Senior Open and 2 Senior PGA Championships) and worked with major champions and Tour winners such as Tom Kite, Brad Faxon, and Kevin Streelman. Wayne’s teaching career began in 1986 after injuries cut short his effort to play the PGA Tour, and as a club professional he was voted Teacher of the Year in the Middle Atlantic Section and was a member of Golf Digest’s first “50 Greatest Teachers” list in 2000, and Golf Magazine’s Top 100 Teachers in 2003. Wayne’s experience as a junior and collegiate golfer (Maryland Schoolboy Champion in 1975 and Southeast Conference champion and 1st Team All-American in 1979 at LSU) give him unparalleled credibility that has helped him prepare young golfers for high school and college competition, as well as those looking to make a go at professional golf. As a club professional Wayne was the Player of the Year in the Middle Atlantic Section 4 times, Maryland State Open champion 3 times, Low Club Professional in the 1995 PGA Championship, and secured his greatest title in winning the PGA Professional National Championship in 2001. At age 62 and having worked through lower back problems most of his playing career gives Wayne a unique insight into the physical issues faced by many senior golfers, and he has continued to explore swing mechanics that are easier on the body.
Wayne’s teaching style combines both technique and feel, as he utilizes both video analysis and hands on work to give players of any level the understanding of what they are doing, what they are trying to do, and then giving the feel of how to physically accomplish what the swing needs to do. His website, WayneD.com, has been in existence for over 10 years and his YouTube swing analysis videos have racked up more than 7 and a half million views.

Roger Maas has been a Golf professional teaching golf for over 30 years. He is a Life Member of the PGA and has served as a Head Golf Professional in the South Florida Section for over 15 years. He has received National recognition for PGA President’s Council on growing the game 5 straight years. Roger is also an accomplished player winning several tournaments in the Minnesota and South Florida sections.
